Commenting on the appointment of Keith Brown as Transport Minister,
Liberal Democrat Transport spokesperson Alison McInnes said:
"The people of Scotland were badly let by the previous transport
minister and deserved better.
"I congratulate Keith Brown on his appointment.
"The new minister has a lot of ground to cover if he's to regain the
trust of the travelling public.
"A good start would be to review the contingency plan ahead of more
wintry weather.
"Motorists need to be confident that the Government is prepared. The
new Transport Minister needs to hit the ground running."
