Commenting on the Labour Party submission to the Calman Commission, Tavish Scott, leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats said:

"Any progress from Labour towards more powers for the Scottish Parliament, however glacial it may be, has to be welcomed.

"I'm pleased that Labour finally seem to have realised that the status quo is not enough."
